Axiom and Python Developer

Job Description:

• 5+ years of hands-on configuration experience using Axiom for very large data sets.
• Strong Experience as an Axiom Developer, and/or in “Axiom reporting”, “Axiom Controller”.
• Axiom reporting – i.e. Axiom Controller View for the FFIEC 031, FFIEC 041, FRY 14M/Q, FRY-14, FRY-9C, FRY 14M, FRY 14Q, FRY-9C, FFIEC 031 & 041 are regulatory Reports.
• Creation of Data Sources, Data Models, Shorthands, Portfolios, Aggregations, Free Form and Tabular Report and workflows using AXIOM Controller View tool based on Regulatory Report Requirements.
• Experience in installation, administration, development, and configuration of US regulatory reports, liquidity reporting, Basel-IV US implementation, etc.
• Migration of Axiom components from one environment to another.
• Knowledge of installing Controller View CV10x from scratch, configuring, administering, and setting up permissions and groups.
• AxiomSL Controller View Certified is a plus.

Technical Responsibilities

• 5-8 years of Hands-on configuration experience using Axiom for very large data sets.
• Familiarity with OAS or Tableau is a plus.
• Expertise in database design and programming skills – SQL/PLSQL
• Intermediate level skills in data analysis and data modelling
• Experience with using R or Python would be an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience of data modelling and data warehouse concepts.
• Working knowledge of software design patterns and architecture
• Leads complex problem solving and provides technical guidance and support to colleagues and solution development.
• Proposes, designs & codes software solutions to address complex business needs.
• Oversees technical and procedural documentation as required.
• General knowledge of Banking, Financial and US regulatory environment
• Aligns business strategy with software solutions.
• Must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Looking for a highly motivated individual that likes to be challenged.
