- 12+ years of experience in automotive seating out of which 8+ years of experience in automotive seating design with expertise in complete seating and safety concerns.
- PROBLEM SOLVING ACTIVITY:
- Creation of A3 for design issues, Seat tenting issue at launch, Seat track position sensor clearance issue, Seat cushion tenting issue. Knee load test failure in DV, Recliner wire disengaged issue, Customer change for lumbar system (L&P to FICOSA). Child restraint packaging, Head rest sleeve BSR.
- DESIGN ACTIVITY: SOFTWERE NX & CATIA.
- Child restraint system packaging for 2nd row OB and CTR seat study and propose the design changes in ISOFIX wire to meet FMVSS 225 regulation and to meet the required MTM.
- Due care study for the CTR CRF: Study the roll angle, Yaw angle and Pitch angle, Leg length for different CRF position to meet FMVSS 225 regulations.
- A3 creation for ISOFIX wire and CRF packaging feasibility.
- IIHS and NPRM tool study: For ISOFIX wire visibility and accessibility requirement.
- Harness routing drawing, Assembly / Part drawings and chart drawings creation,
- SMTE layout for complete seat, Trim GD&T drawing to reduce craftsmanship issues
- on seat.
- 2R complete seat clearance / interferences study with vehicle environment data i.e.
- Back panel, C-Pillar, Head liners etc.
- Preparation of EBOM and complexity matrix for front and rear seat.
- Cad Data Management, Assembly build-up in PLM, CAD and Drawings updates &
- release process for change notice in Adient PLM and FCA Teamcenter.
- Preparation of Head/Child restraint Safety, Packaging Layouts for FMVSS
- acceptance criteria.
- Management of the seat data in FCA and Adient Teamcenter for different gates
- (STEP-3, STEP-5, DV, PV, VPA, VPB, FPR).
- Specialized knowledge of seating product and design methodologies of various components
- and subsystems for unique automotive seating products.
- key contributor to ensure product meet the expectations of customer regarding the quality
- and ongoing innovation of automotive seating design and functions.
