Job Description:
1) Design, development and support for the Chassis System components for passenger cars
2) Support for drawings, DMU packaging ,release parts and assemblies
3) Experience in OEMs is preferred
4) Smooth deliver of the assigned tasks
5) Timely and transparent customer interaction for engineering feasibility
6) Active support as and when required at the team and department level
7) Support for the customer in house activities, and reports Presentations
8) Seamless integration with the Team in India & onsite
9) Assist team leader to achieve company goals / objectives
10) When required execute any other task assigned by Superiors
Skill Requirement:
11) Knowledge in Chassis components and aggregate design like Axles, Suspension, Brakes, Steering & Wheel systems etc.
12) Broad knowledge understanding of durability requirements related to Chassis components.
13) Knowledge on Vehicle packaging, kinematics, fixture testing & Vehicle testing.
14) Knowledge on manufacturing process like Sheet metal, Casting and Forging.
15) Knowledge of Chassis kinematic simulation
16) Knowledge of Chassis testing requirements
17) catia tool : Strong in Part Design, assembly design, DMU, Kinematic design, Drawing & Team Centre
18) Well versed in component design process and engineering calculations
19) Know-how of the field issues and resolutions
20) Strong competency for design review and new ideas
21) Awareness of the design standards local and international
22) Must be well versed with the Drawing standards, Data Management, Release management and Co-Ordination
23) Design and development of Brake parts with Supplier interaction.
24) Knowledge of GD & T.
25) Good understanding of Intercultural work management
