Position: Cloud Engineer
Location: Wilmington DE
Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Electronics/Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science
Years of Experience: 5+ Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions using best practices and industry standards
- Monitor and maintain the health and performance of our cloud infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to cloud services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of cloud solutions
- Implement and maintain security protocols and measures to protect cloud-based systems
- Develop and maintain documentation for all cloud infrastructure and processes
- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends to continuously improve our systems
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud engineering or a related role
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- In-depth understanding of networking concepts and protocols
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Certifications in cloud technologies are a plus
