Role & responsibilities :
- Experience in testing data validation scenarios and Data ingestion, pipelines, and transformation processes (e.g.,ETL).
- Demonstrated experience of working with automated testing tools.
- Individual with 5+ years experience in ETL DWH/Database testing.
- Strong SQL python skills, including joins, subqueries, CTEs, and writing complex queries.
- Hands-on experience in testing Data Completeness and Quality for various data feeds.
- Conceptual knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and Data modeling
- Demonstrated experience of working with automated testing tools.
- Understanding of information governance principles and how they could apply in a testing capacity.
- Demonstrated experience of automating tests across multiple platforms and technologies and understand its application throughout the full development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of test case management packages.
- Test ETL Mappings to extract data from multiple sources like SQL Server, Flat files, etc., into target tables using
- transformations.
- Analyze the Source to Target Mapping Documents
- Author ETL test scenarios, cases, and scripts
