Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, such as in Wind Turbine, Heavy Machinery, or Automotive industries.
• Proficiency in Machine Design and R&D Design.
• Advanced skills in CAD tools, including NX, SolidWorks, or CATIA, with experience in PLM software like Team Center or Enovia.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and prioritize customer needs to deliver value.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, coordination, and execution, with a focus on quality and timelines.
• Commitment to ensuring the quality of deliverables and continuous improvement.
• Experience in designing bolted and welded joint connections, along with knowledge of FMEA and risk assessments.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as welding, casting, and forging.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience in innovation and value engineering projects.
• Proficient in creating manufacturing drawings and defining tolerances using GD&T.
• Experience in handling Sustenance and Change Management projects (ECO, ECN).
• Exceptional personal organization skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
• Ability to thrive in an international environment, collaborating with diverse teams and cultures.
