Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description:

• 5+ years of experience in automation testing with Selenium and Java.
• Test Specialist with exposure in API Test Automation.
• Solid experience in Database / PostGres / Timeseries / SQL / Oracle knowledge and experience of Windows/Unix/Linux.
• Experience in automating scripts in cucumber BDD framework with Java and python.
• Experience in automation testing with cucumber BDD automation framework using selenium WebDriver with java and python.
• Experience of Web Application Testing, API testing, Database Testing, Mobile Testing, client server and GUI applications
• Have a good knowledge on how to set up test environment for Web Automation on MAC and Windows.
• Good understanding and experience in Agile test automation frameworks and approaches.
• Experience with testing API’s (Rest, Soap, Graph-QL protocols)
• Experience with framework designing using Rest Assured.
• Experience in Restful Web services testing using SOAPUI PRO
• Experience with Selenium, Cucumber
• Programming experience in Java
• Jenkins GitBitbucket, Scrum, Jira, or other agile tools
• Experience in Docker and Kubernetes
• Exposure to cloud platform e.g. AWS
• Knowledge of DevOps pipeline and deployment
• Experience in the design and development of code to automate functional and regression tests.
• Understanding of SQA procedures, policies and principles
• Experience in Agile development

Responsibilities: 

• Understand and translate requirements, design/functional specifications to define test requirements, and design test cases.
• Assess and estimate test requirements based on use cases and other requirement documentation.
• Create test strategy, test plans, test scripts, and test cases based on functional specifications and user requirements
• Develop automation scripts in cucumber BDD framework with Java and python.
• Involve in automation testing with cucumber BDD automation framework using selenium WebDriver with java and python.
• Create test strategy, test plan, and put into execution for both UI and REST APIs through Postman tool.
• Prepare test data and test environment.
• Perform Restful Web services testing using SOAPUI PRO and Manual Testing.
• Support and execute test cases for Web Application Testing, API testing, Database Testing, Mobile Testing and Automation testing with tools like Selenium, UFT.
• Execute tests and identify, communicate, and track issues to closure.
• Develop and implement strategy to increase QA test coverage utilizing automated testing tools.
• Coordinate UAT and validation activities for project implementation/deployment.
• Debug and maintain automation test scripts in batch mode and implement a plan on automation scripts on based Sprint.
